1. Be Your Own Boss

Have you worked for a company that does not pay salaries on time? You’d be surprised at the number of people who work under such conditions everyday! Have no fear; a very simple yet effective solution is available. Whatever task you are currently doing, you can do that for yourself. Why have others earn the rewards of your labor when you could be maximizing your freedom and earnings! Why be under the sponsorship of some tyrant as opposed to getting your own visa through a free zone!

2. Create Jobs

One of the aspects that entrepreneurs do not tend to reflect on is that their businesses have a profound impact on their communities. Your ideas provide your employees the opportunity to earn a living, provide for their family and fulfill their own dreams. Your company could provide the lucky break to the next great inventor, innovator or future CEO.

3. Pride

One of the common themes when you run in to entrepreneurs is the intense pride they feel about their venture. Regardless of the size or scope of a company, the great feeling that you have started something from scratch and made it into a fully functioning business is something that will linger with you for a long time.

4. Provide a Solution to a Problem

I am sure most of us have had a moment where we either needed a service or an item and said to ourselves I wish there was some company who provided that. UAE is still a growing market, there are many products that are not sold in this market, and equally there are many services that simply do not exist. Maybe your company will be the first Taco Truck in the UAE, or the first company that provides dog walking services. I am sure you can think of many ideas if you put your mind to it.

5. YOLO

Yolo – You only live once! Everyone is scared of taking risks, starting a business can be scary but at the same time not starting one could haunt you for the rest of your life. Sure, you might be putting your life savings or your career on the line, but with great risks come great rewards. What if Steve Jobs or Bill Gates had taken the safe path and taken a safe corporate job rather than venture on their own? The world would be very different place. Take the plunge, after all, you only live once.
